The JV Eagles got off to a slow start tonight against the Northview Wildcats. They settled down in the second quarter and really paid attention to the scouting report in the second half, taking a 6-point halftime lead and winning 76-50. The Eagles’ record is now 5-0.
Every Eagle scored tonight. Dono Thames led the way with 15 points. Ian Velzen-Haner added 10 points off the bench. Tyler Porte played another strong game with 8 points and 5 blocked shots.
The Eagles travel to Grand Rapids Catholic Central tomorrow night for a 5:30pm tip.
