The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles hosted Forest Hills Eastern last night on a beautiful fall afternoon. The Eagles came out slowly but built up the pressure over time. The first goal came from Ben Byma who skillfully chipped the goalkeeper in a 1v1 breakaway. Moses Hapner made it 2-0 with a near post strike late in the first half. The Eagles came out better in the second half as Moses Hapner added a third, followed by two more from Noah Peterson. The Eagles finished the game 5-0 and move to 11-0-2 to keep their undefeated season alive. Goalkeeper Soren Mayer posts the Eagles 11th clean sheet of the season. Grand Rapids Christian returns to action tonight at 6PM, hosting South Christian.
