The Freshman baseball team dropped a double header to a tough Hudsonville squad on Friday evening. In both games, the undefeated opponent feared their perfect season would be spoiled. In game one, GRC was only down 2-1 late, until  Hudsonville pushed across a 3 spot in their last ups to take a 5-1 win. In Game 2, GRC built a 2-0 lead, but could score no more, and fell 7-2. Will DeBlecourt, Will Gruennert, and Nathan Reiffer all worked effectively on the mound for GRC. Reiffer was on base 3 times, with 2 hits and a walk, and DeBlecourt also had 2 hits. The last competition for the scrappy Freshman is home double header vs Byron Center on Tuesday.
