Grand Rapids Christian boy freshman basketball team played Reeths-Puffer on Friday afternoon. It was a close game throughout the first half, getting a boost off the bench from Gabe Armstead who had 4 points and 3 offensive rebounds. Giving GR Christian a 25-18 halftime lead. Reeths-Puffer came out in the 2nd half and went on a run to tie the game at 32-32 heading into the 4th. The Eagles used defense and free throws to win the game 51-47. They made 8 of 10 free throws in the 4th quarter. The Eagles were lead by their two guards Dono Thames who had 17 and Jack Agema who finished with 10 points. The Eagles will travel to Rockford Friday Jan.3 at 2:30, for the next game.
