GR Christian freshman boys basketball team return to action on Tuesday nigh after a 12 day layoff, taking on Thornapple Kellogg. The Eagles came out ready to play. They executed well on offense and played great team defense. They got a big boost from Gabe Armstead in the 1st half,  who played great defense and scored 6 points. The Eagles lead at halftime 33-19. In the 2nd half the Eagles wanted to focus on Defense. They did just that, lead by Luke Gelderloos and Cameron Merritt, the Eagles gave up just 8 points in the 2nd half. The Eagles won the game by a score of 64-27.

GR Christian was led by Tyler Porte with 12 points. Josh Winkle and Jack Agema added 9 points each. The Eagles will travel to Wyoming Friday night for a 5:30pm contest.
