WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL: 30
GR Christian boys freshman basketball team traveled to Wyoming Friday night to take on the Wolves. The Eagles came out with a lof of energy and focused on defense. They only gave up 15 points in the first half to take a 31-15 lead at halftime. In the second half the Eagles wanted to get everyone involved on offense and attack the hoop. They did just that, with 11 Eagles scoring in the game. The Eagles only gave up 15 points in the 2nd half and scored 24, to win the game by a score of 55-30.
The Eagles were lead by Dono Thames who made 10 of 11 free throws and finished wth 17 points. The Eagles will host East Grand Rapids Tuesday night at 5:30pm in the All-City Gym.
