GR Christian boys freshman basketball team played host to Forest Hills Eastern Friday night. The Eagles came out slow, letting Forest Hills Eastern get some easy lay ups, with the Eagles winning at the end of the 1st quarter by a score of 15-14. The Eagles made some adjustments in the 2nd quarter and came out strong on both sides of the ball. The Eagles outscored Forest Hills Eastern 14-2 , to take a 29-16 halftime lead. The Eagles came out in the 2nd half and played tough and aggressive. Not letting Eastern back in the game and winning by a score of 63-45.
The Eagles had a balance scoring attack with 11 players scoring in the game. The Eagles return to action Tuesday night as they travel to Wayland for a 4:00pm contest.
