GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 41
The Freshman basketball team traveled to Grand Rapids Catholic Central Saturday night for a big non-conference matchup. The Eagles came out on with a lot of energy on both sides of the ball and hitting 4 threes in the first half to take a 27-20 half time lead. In the 2nd half the Eagles used pressure defense to slow down Catholic Central. Jeremiah Jones came off the bench in the second half and had 9 points, including 7 straight points in the 3rd quarter. The Eagles made 12-16 free throws in the 4th quarter to put the game away and win 49-41.
The Eagles were lead by Carter Goodyke who had 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Isiaish Caviness had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
