Freshman Basketball cruises past East Grand Rapids 62-41

The Freshman Boys Basketball team earned a huge win over rival East Grand Rapids on Tuesday. The Eagles started the game with a 20-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Later, the lead would grow to a 33-14 score at halftime. Ultimately, the Eagles would never look back and earn an 62-41 victory over the Pioneers.
The team played unselfish by sharing the ball and playing outstanding team defense. The Eagles had nine players get into the scoring column tonight lead by Charlie King with 21 points. The team was on fire tonight from the three point line including multiple makes from King, Liam Jansen, Felipe Martinez, Will Ferwerda, Mason Abbott, and Connor VanDrunen.
The Freshman Eagles end their away game schedule as they head to Forest Hills Northern on Thursday. Go Eagles!
