The Freshman Boys Basketball team hosted East Grand Rapids for a Tuesday matchup. Despite dealing with some sickness, the boys were eager for the challenge. The Eagles would control the lead at the half by a score of 22-20. The team would come out of halftime and get the lead up to 15 in the third. However, the Pioneers would not give up and would storm back in the fourth quarter cutting the lead to 2 points. Ky Bender would knock down two clutch free throws at the end and seal the Eagles victory. The team will head to Forest Hills Eastern on Friday. Go Eagles!
