LOWELL HIGH SCHOOL: 19
The Eagles bats came alive in Game 2 versus Lowell, but fell short losing 19-4. Starting off the top of the first the Eagles came out swinging scoring four runs off of four hits. Lily Gaastra, Lauren Holkeboer, and Lilly Dekker loaded the bases. Rallying with two outs, Abbe Diemer brought in two runs with a double to right field. Annika Smits kept it going with a long at bat that ended in a walk. With bases loaded again, Ella Koetje hit a single to right field scoring two more runs. Lily Gaastra led the offense with two hits. Each having one hit were Lauren Holkeboer, Lille Dekker, Ella Koetje, Abbe Diemer, and Annika Smits.
The Eagles face off against Lowell one more time this Friday at home.
