The eagles dropped game one to Spring Lake, 1-8. Rae Cummings had the start on the mound. She allowed 6 hits, 4 earned runs over 5 ⅓ innings, striking out and walking 7. Jaslene McWilliams came in for releif for one inning.
At the plate the eagles out hit Spring Lake, however, they were unable to put the hits together to bring in their 10 stranded runners. Leading the team with 3 hits was Jaslene McWilliams. Anna VanHeulen and Ellie VandeGriend each had 2 hits. Each having one hit were Rae Cummings, Karina Mora, and Keira Porte.
