Girls Swimming & Diving OK Lakeshore Duals

Girls Swimming & Diving had a great time at our first meet of the season last night. It was so good to be on deck with all of the teams in our new conference on the lakeshore!
We had plenty of great swimming & diving, here are some notable highlights:
-Several of our teammates competed in their fist ever swim meet. shoutout to Hannah Compagner, Nicole Holwerda, Elizabeth Snow, Daria Vander Griend, Braylon VanDenend, and Julia Benthem! All of these Eagles finished speedy in their first-ever events!
-Maeve Harnkess qualified for state in the 50 free, swimming a 25.89! Way to go, Maeve!
-Juliana Mills got a state cut in the 100 fly, swimming a 1:02.46!
-Our 200 freestyle relay got a state cut with a 1:34.6! Big thanks to Veda Harkenss, Juliana Mills, Maddie Mills, and Maeve Harkness for this fast finish!
-Congrats to our three Eagles who placed in the top ten divers: Beatrice Volkema (2nd), Emily Setlock (4th), and Lilly Kate Devries (9th)!
