Northview Invitational Sprint Meet

On Saturday, the Eagles competed in the Northview Invitational sprint meet, taking sixth place overall!
In diving, freshman Beatrice Volkema kicked off the meet taking first place overall, being the first GRC diver to take first at this meet in at least eight years!
As the swimming events began, the 100 free was spicy as juniors Ali Buist and Lucy Molenbeek TIED with both swimmers going a 1:02.85.
In the 100 IM, Veda Harkness and Juliana Mills took 9th and 10th.
Maddie Mills, Anneke Nederveld and Olivia Koldenhoven crushed the 50 fly, all going sub 31.
Shout out to the many girls who competed their first backstroke races!!
In the 50 breaststroke, Veda Harkness took 8th with a 35.30!
