On Thursday night, the Eagles beat Union 146-28.
Juliana Mills got yet ANOTHER state cut, this time in the 200 IM, going a 2:23.74! After that, Maddox Veldkamp, Rebekah Poppen and Katherine Brandt all swam their first ever 100 fly and along with the other flyers, everyone killed it. Shout out to Braylon Vandenend who PR’ed in her 100 freestyle by six whole seconds! On the other end of the pool, senior Lilly DeVries qualified for diving regionals, joining Emily Setlock and Beatrice Volkema. When it came to the 500 freestyle, Anneke Nederveld, Lucy Molenbeek, and Ali Buist were so super speedy and were all very proud of their times.
The meet ended with the 400 free relay of Mills, Harkness, Mills, Harkness whipping out another state cut!
