Girl Swimming & Diving had an exciting time at our Tri Meet last night against Forest Hills Central and Thornapple Kellogg! The pool deck was booming with cheers as the Eagles cheered each other on.
Some highlights from our meet were:
-The girls who swam the 500 yard freestyle absolutely crushed it! Finishing in first place, Juliana Mills with a 5:50! Soon after that, Anneke Nederveld dropped 5 seconds with a season best of 6:04. Shoutout to Ali Buist & Lucy Molenbeek who also crushed it! Way to go, distance ladies!
-Elizabeth Doezema was long and strong in her 100 yard breaststroke, finishing with a season best of 1:22.
-Emily Setlock took second place, absolutely nailing her back flip, one and a half twist!
