The Eagles made their trek out to Holland to Swim & Dive against Holland Christian last night. The score went back and forth throughout the entire meet, but ended up with an exciting win for the Eagles (94-92)!
Some highlights from the meet are below:
Gertie Hereema broke 30 seconds in her 50 free with a 29.30! Way to go, Gertie!
Julia Benthem swam an awesome 50 touching the wall at 27.60. #speedy
Anneke Nederveld rocked her 200 IM with a 2:30.82. Go, Anneke!
Katherine Brandt dropped significant time in her 500 free swimming a 6:35.97. Go, distance queen!
Maddie Mills swam a beautiful 200 finishing with a 2:04.70 and placing first!
In the diving well, Beatrice Volkema and Emily Setlock came in 1st and 2nd place, earning us more important points halfway through the meet. Special shoutout to Lilly Kate Devries who competed her hardest dive difficulty list in her career!
