The Eagles had a super weekend swimming and diving at the Hudsonville invite! 

We started off Friday night strong when all four of our divers placed in the top 16 divers. Special shoutout to Beatrice Volkema and Emily Setlock for taking 1st and 2nd place overall! 

Some highlights from the swimming portion on Saturday are below: 

-Our 200 Free Relay (A) was super fast, touching the wall at 1:46.99 (Veda Harkness, Juliana Mills, Maddie Mills, Maeve Harkenss)

-Anneke Nederveld swam the 500 yard free and finished with a 5:59.14, breaking the 6 minute mark!

-Lindsey Wierenga swam another 26 split in the 200 free relay. Way to go, Lindsey! 

-Braylon VanDenend took home a PR in the 100 backstroke, with a time of 1:13.52. 

-Daria VandeGriend PRd her 50 free, with a time of 39.79. Yay, Daria! 

-Elizabeth Snow dropped 3 seconds and took a personal record in the 50 free, with a 34.24. 

-Maddox Veldkamp swam the 200 IM for the first time. 

-Elizabeth Doezema crushed the 100 breaststroke. Great job, Elizabeth! 

-Hannah Compagner swam her fastest time in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:39.58!

-Louise Liu dropped a lot of time in her 100 freestyle. Yay, Louise! 

-Maddie Mills took home 5th place in the 500 freestyle, with a time of 5:35.95.

-Lexi McKee dropped nearly 2 seconds in the 100 yard breaststroke.
