The JV Eagles defeated Ottawa Hills in a game that only got better as it went on, forcing turnovers left and right. 

Leading the charge for the Eagles was Alexis Willis, who had an all-around standout game, finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Right with her was Adelyn Breuninger, who not only scored 10 points but also facilitated the offense with 7 assists, while contributing defensively with 7 steals.

Iris Morgan was also a defensive powerhouse, racking up 8 steals, and Zuly Lathouwers added 6 steals to the team’s total. Addie Rodenhouse played a key role in the paint, grabbing 6 rebounds to keep Ottawa Hills from finding any rhythm on offense.

But perhaps the most memorable moment of the night came from Piper Slagboom, who delivered the basket of the night. Her impressive play sparked a loud celebration from the team, and she also contributed 2 steals and a rebound in the win. It was a well-rounded performance with 10 girls in the score column AND the rebound column, the victory was a great picture of the team’s depth, energy, and teamwork.
