The JV Eagles hosted the Huskies of Forest Hills Northern in a thrilling game that came down to the wire, yet the Eagles came out victorious in a nail-biter. The team showed excellent hustle and determination throughout the game, especially on the defensive end, dominating the glass and leading in steals.
Alexis Willis made a huge impact, coming just shy of a double-double with 10 rebounds and 8 steals, showing her versatility on both ends of the court. Adelyn Breuninger was also a standout for the Eagles, putting up 16 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and collecting 4 steals.
Zuly Lathouwers had the hot hand, contributing 8 points, while Elyssa Haley grabbed 6 rebounds, continuing to be a strong presence in the paint. Braylon VanDenend showed great court awareness, always being in the right place at the right time to make key plays when needed.
