It was another cold and chilly day when the Eagles went to go visit the Hawks of Eastern High School. We were motivated and played tremendously despite the subpar conditions. We stepped on court and displayed enthusiasm, which resulted in a Team Win! I'm super proud of number 12 doubles made up of Madeleine Mills & Celia Sharda. Their match had some exciting points. All of their games went to deuce/ad, they battled, and lost in a close one. Number 11 doubles Addison Scott, and Zion Kwon also had a fun match against a tough opponent and were able to secure the win. Our number 1 doubles Ava Barton, Maria Martinez, and our number 2 doubles Ainsley Warren, Julia Benthem had to play the best two out of three sets. They both won convincingly in straight sets. 11 out of our 12 doubles teams won. We all rallied behind our teammates, and the great support shows. Again, congrats on a job well done!
