PORTAGE NORTHERN HIGH SCHOOL: 4.00
The JV Girls Lacrosse fought for a 7-4 win against Portage Northern on Monday night. Though your Eagles faced a team with twice the number of players they showed strength and tenacity on the field. Scoring were freshman Rylee Anderson and Esther Kissinger along with sophomores Lila Jabara, Ava Leder and Makena Nyhuis. Freshman Georgia Mersman led our defense by consistently stopping the ball and sophmore goalie Elaine Rodenhouse stopped 8 shots on goal.
Be sure to come and watch your JV Eagles play Mona Shores at 5:30 this coming Wednesday at Eagle Stadium.
