The freshmen Eagles faced a tough challenge against a strong Catholic Central team as they returned from break. Despite taking good shots and securing some impressive rebounds, they struggled to convert on offense. Arok Mawut led the way with a team-high 8 points and 5 rebounds. Rachel Klooster was a dominant force on the boards, pulling down 6 rebounds, while Aluong Reng added 6 points.
Joyce Minito made her presence felt with pivotal baskets and a block, contributing significantly to the team’s efforts. Susu Abreu rounded out the guard play, bringing the ball up the court and adding two important scores.
Although the Eagles had a slow start, their collective effort showed promise, and they’ll be looking to build on this performance moving forward.
