The GRC Freshman Girls Volleyball Team went 2-1 in a Freshman Quad hosted by Thornapple Kellogg on Tuesday, August 29th. They beat TK in two sets, 25-11 and 25-19 in the first match. They then went up against Plainwell, where they lost a close, competitive three-set match, losing the first game 14-25, winning the second 25-16, and coming up short the third game 13-15. To finish the evening strong, the Eagles dominated Grandville in two sets, 25-10 and 25-16. The freshman team's next event is Thursday, August 31st at a Mini Tournament hosted by East Kentwood.
