Girls Freshman Volleyball vs. Multiple Opponents

The GR Christian Freshman Girls Volleyball Team went 2-1 to take take 3rd place in a Freshman Mini Tournament hosted by East Kentwood on Thursday, August 31st. The Eagles started off Pool Play with a three-set, comeback win against Byron Center, losing the first set 18-25, winning the second set 25-20, and then finishing the third set 15-13. They then went up against Wayland, where they lost the two-set match 22-25 and 11-25. To finish the evening in tournament play, the Eagles beat Reeths Puffer in a competitive two-set match, winning both games 25-18. The freshman team’s next event is Tuesday, September 5th with their home opening match against Forest Hills Eastern.
