The GRC Freshman volleyball team had a great day at the Hamilton invite, going 4-0 dominating throughout the day and only dropping two sets across all matches, showcasing our consistency and resilience. The team executed strong offense and defense, working together to overcome the challenges of going into a third set only to 15 points. This undefeated run reflects our hard work and determination, setting the tone for future success for the rest of the season. The goals the girls made for this tournament were to communicate and listen to each other and to execute on every play, all things they have continued to work towards and get better with. Each girl who served made at least 3 aces throughout the day, with Kate Triezenberg leading the team with 9 aces, Liza Kooistra with 8, and Aubrey Visker and Ali Stark both having 6. The girls continue to have fun and grow as a team!
