Boys Varsity Volleyball - GR South Quad

Boys volleyball opened their GR South Division season with a quad at South Christian High School on Tuesday night. After dropping their first two matches to tough Caledonia and South Christian teams (16-25, 16-25 and 13-25, 19-25; respectively), Grand Rapids Christian rebounded to take down East Grand Rapids in their final match of the day - 25-12, 25-7. Junior Middle Blocker Tommie Anderson contributed 6 kills and 6 blocks for the night, junior setter Joey Pastoor notched 11 aces, and sophomore Henry Snow came off the bench against EGR to record his first kill as an Eagle. GRC is back in action next Tuesday night with home matches against South Christian (6:30pm) and Thornapple Kellogg (7:30pm).
