Girls Varsity Track vs. OK White Meet

The Eagles finished tied for third in the highly contested league meet wich saw the top 4 teams seperated by just 15 points. FHC won with 127, EGR 115, GRCHS 112, Lowell 112.
Field event highlights included Rowan Cebulski winning the high jump with teammate Abby Hoekzema in 4th. Rowan also took 3rd in the pole vault, and second in the long jump with teammate Nadia Schoon in 7th. Also scoring was Ife Ayoola third in the shot put, and Kidist Nelson and Violet Talsma going 3rd and 7th in the discus.
The Eagles took 2nd in the 4x800 relay with Payton Holtz, Anna Triezenberg, Naomi Nelson, and Natalie VanOtteren. Payton also took 4th in the 800. Naomi took 7th in the 1600 and 3rd in the 3200. Natalie raced to 3rd in the 1600. After a big night in the field, Rowan took 2nd in the 100 hurdles, with teammate ZaNya Mosley 5th and then 5th in the 300 hurdles.
Regionals are Friday at Sparta!
