We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for our annual Caberfae conference race! On January 31, the Eagles headed to Caberfae, where we were greeted by a beautiful sunrise, bright blue skies, and sunshine all day! Our Varsity athletes competed against East Grand Rapids, Forest Hills Northern Eastern, Grand Haven, Rockford, Catholic Central, Spring Lake, Cedar Springs - Greenville - Kenowa Hills, Forest Hills Central, Northview, and West Michigan Aviation Academy. The girls' team finished 4th overall and the boys' team finished 1st overall! What an incredible example of team skiing from everyone! There were also several individual highlights throughout the day: 

• Mackenzie Bishop finished 12th in Giant Slalom 
• Lily Tatko finished 16th in Slalom 
• Mark VanHekken finished 3rd in Giant Slalom and 6th in Slalom
• Sam Winks finished 8th in Giant Slalom and 7th in Slalom
• James Vandenbosch finished 16th in Giant Slalom and 15th in Slalom

Great work, everyone! In addition to these highlights, the energy and support among the team made the day even more memorable. Nice work cheering each other on and being there for one another! We even got a compliment from another coach regarding our impressive cheering section!
