Girls Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

Eagles Lose: -
Congratulations to Lily O'Grady who represented our school so well at the MHSAA Girls Golf State Tournament at MSU's Forest Akers East Golf Course last Friday and Saturday. Over the course of two cooler, very windy days, Lily played amazing golf including hitting 17 of 18 greens during Saturday's round! She ended the tournament tied for 4th place overall for the state tournament shooting a 78 on day one and a 75 on day two! That's an amazing achievement to medal in the top 10 at the state tournament in her freshman year! Congratulations Lily!

Eagles Lose: -
Congrats to the Eagles girls varsity golf team as they wrapped up their season on Wednesday at regionals. The team took 4th out of 12 teams shooting a team score of 393 and just missing qualifying for the state tournament by 8 strokes.
Freshman Lily O'Grady led the team and the entire tournament by shooting a 3 over par 74, and led the next closest competitor by 8 strokes. Lily becomes the 3rd Eagle in a row to win the individual regional champion title. Congratulations to Lily and cheer her on as she heads to the state tournament next Friday and Saturday to play at MSU's Forest Akers East Golf Course!

This past week we finished our OK White Conf season with the post-season conference tournament at Thornapple Pointe. Our team finished 6th overall, shooting our season best team score for 18 holes with a 382. Our team was led by Lily O'Grady who shot a 68, 4 under par! Her round featured 3 bogeys, 3 birdies and 2 eagles! With that score she won the league tournament by 4 strokes over the next competitor. Halle Couch shot a 94 and Payton Nol and Annika DeKraker each added 110's on a tough Thornapple Pointe course on a beautiful day to provide our team scoring.
Congratulations are also due to Halle Couch who earned Honorable Mention All-Conference and Lily O'Grady who earned All-Conference honors!

Eagles Lose: -
The Eagles girls varsity golf team took 5th out of 15 teams at the Ludington Invitational last Friday. Freshman Lily O'Grady tied for first place overall in the tournament by shooting a fantastic 2 over par 74 on the day. Junior Halle Couch added a solid 94 on the beautiful 18 hole course. The Eagles play next on Tuesday in an OK White jamboree at Quail Ridge.

The girls varsity golf team took 4th place at the OK White jamboree on Monday night that was held at Lowell's Arrowhead golf course. Freshman Lily O'Grady shot the low round of the match with a great 2 over par 38. The team heads next to EGR's Kent Country Club to play on Tuesday.

The girls varsity golf team lost to Holland Chr and Unity Chr at Pigeon Creek Golf Course Monday night by a score of 185-190-198. Lily O'Grady was the medalist / low round of the match shooting a 2 over par 38, Halle Couch fired a 45, Izzy Murray a 57 and Payton Nol a 58. The team plays an OK White conference jamboree as their next match next Monday.

The girls varsity golf team took 6th place at the OK White jamboree on Wednesday which was played at Egypt Valley Country Club. On a beautiful evening but a tough course, freshman Lily O'Grady led the team shooting a 39, and junior Halle Couch fired a very solid 41. Senior Annika DeKraker shot a 55 and senior Payton Nol a 61 to round out the team scoring.

The girls varsity golf team took 4th place at our first OK White jamboree which was held at the Brookside Golf Course in Greenville. Freshmen Lily O'Grady led the team and had the low round for the whole match shooting an even par 36.

Eagles Win: 164.00 - 136.00
The Eagles girls varsity golf team played a solid match vs South Christian on Tuesday night on the par 3 South course at Cascade Hills Country Club but lost to SC 136-164. Freshman Lily O'Grady shot the low round of the match with a 2 over par 29 and Junior Halle Couch fired a solid 36. Senior Payton Nol was the third scorer for the team shooting a 48 and Senior Reagan VanderHeide had the fourth team score with a 51. The team plays next on Monday at the Brookside Golf Course as we open OK White conference play.

The girls varsity golf team took 12th place last Friday at an 18 hole tournament at The Meadows on the campus of GVSU, by shooting a team score of 400. Freshman Lily O'Grady was the 2nd place individual finalist shooting a fantastic even par 72 on a demanding course!
The team plays next on Tuesday at Cascade Hills CC vs South Christian.

The Eagles girls varsity golf team played a solid match vs Catholic Central on Monday night on the par 3 South course at Cascade Hills Country Club but lost to CC 129-146. Freshman Lily O'Grady shot the low round of the match with a 1 under par 26 and Junior Halle Couch fired a solid 34. Senior Annika DeKraker was the third scorer for the team shooting a 40 and Senior Payton Nol and Sophomore Kiera Bishop tied for the fourth team score with a 46. The team plays next on Friday at the Jenison Invitational at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale.
