The boys JV golf team defeated Lowell at Morrison Lake Golf Course on a cool, windy Wednesday, 177-191. Freshman Cam Renz led the match with a solid round of 41. Davis Hutt shot a 44, Felipe Martinez a 45 and Arie Nol and Henry Kraay both shot 47 to round out the team scoring.

The boys JV golf team hit the links at Indian Trails on Monday after school in a match vs FHN and Unity Christian. Our team shot a team score of 170 which was good enough to beat FHN's 178, but lost out to UC's 159. The team was led by sophomore Davis Hutt and freshman Cam Renz who tied for the low round for the team shooting a pair of 40's. Arie Nol, Felipe Martinez and Henry Kraay all tied for third on the team shooting a 45. The team will head next to face Lowell at their home course of Morrison Lake GC.
The GRCHS JV boys golf team opened their season on a beautiful Monday afternoon on Brookside Golf Course in Greenville, in the midst of a solar eclipse. With the sun partially out, the Eagles eclipsed the Yellow Jackets of Greenville shooting a team score of 187 to Greenville's 235. The Eagles were led by sophomore Davis Hutt and freshman Cam Renz who each fired a match best score of 44. Felipe Martinez shot 47 and sophomore Arie Nol added a 52 to round out the Eagles scoring. By the end of the round, the Eagles had won their first match, the sun was back out fully and it was as bright outside as the Eagles' future.
