Girls Junior Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

Eagles Lose: -
The JV Golf Team came in second out of three teams on Thursday at a very difficult Mines Golf Course. Forest Hills Central came out on top with a 216. The Eagles were close behind scoring a 227. They were led by the medalist of the match, Jane Snyder, shooting a 48. The girls have their conference tournament on Monday at Boulder Creek Golf Course to finish out their season.

The JV Golf team came in second out of three teams on Monday at Brookeside Golf Course scoring a 242. They were edged out by Byron Center who shot a 228 as a team. The Eagles were led by Freshman Jane Snyder shooting a 55. Their next match is on Tuesday at Boulder Ridge Golf Course.

The JV Girls Golf Team came in second out of three teams on Wednesday at Maple Hill Golf Course. They scored a very good 203, but were beat by a talented Byron Center scoring a 188. Lexi Raterink led the Eagles today scoring an impressive 45. She was followed by Jane Snyder with a 48, Lydia Ydenberg with a 54, and Lily Batts with a 56 rounding out the team score. Their next match is Monday at Brookside Golf Course.

The JV Golf Team played a very long, and difficult Brookside Golf Course on Monday. They competed against Greenville and East Grand Rapids, and came out on top scoring a 237. The Eagles were led by the winner of the match, Jane Snyder, shooting a 54. They will be playing again on Wednesday at Maple Hill Golf Course.

The JV Girls Golf team came out on top on Thursday at Indian Trails Golf Course against Lowell and FHN. They not only won, but also broke their season best team score shooting a 202! The Eagles were led by Freshman Mia Kits firing a 48, followed by Makena Nyhuis and Lydia Ydenberg both scoring 51. The girls will be back at it on Monday at Glenkerry Golf Course.

The GRChristian JV Girls Golf Team had a match Wednesday at Indian Trials against Catholic Central. The girls all played very well, but came up short of Catholic Central 205-183. The Eagles were led by Freshman Lexi Raterink shooting a 49, followed by Jane Snyder with a 50, and Mia Kits and Lydia Ydenberg both scoring a 53. They will be out at Indian Trails again tomorrow against FHN and Greenville. Go Eagles!

The Eagles played a very difficult Morrison Lake Golf Course on Tuesday against Lowell and East Grand Rapids. They came 2nd out of three teams, scoring a 244 as a team. Lowell won the match shooting a 218. The Eagles were led by freshman Jane Snyder scoring a 57, followed by Mia Kits with a 61, and Lexi Raterink coming in at 62. The girls will be back at it on Wednesday, September 7, against Catholic Central.

The GRC JV Golf Team played against Caledonia on Friday at Indian Trails Golf Course. The Eagles had their best team score of the year, but came up just short of Caledonia 203-198. They were led by the two match medalists, Jane Snyder and Lexi Raterink, both firing a 47, followed by Lydia Ydenberg with a 54 and Mia Kits with a 55. The girls have made so much improvement already this year, it's exciting what's to come for them. They are back at it on Monday at Boulder Creek Golf Course.

The GRC JV golf team played a match on Wednesday at Maple Hill Golf Course against Byron Center and Forest Hills Northern. The Eagles scored their best team round of the year with a 209. They came up just short of FHN who shot a 200 and Byron Center shooting a 189. The Eagles were led by Freshman Mia Kits firing a 46, followed by Freshman Lexi Raterink with a 52. They are back at it on Friday against Caledonia at Indian Trails Golf Course.

The Eagles JV Golf team played their first official match against Forest Hills Northern and Greenville at Indian Trails Golf Course on Wednesday. The girls played well, but came up short against Forest Hills Northern, 225-207. They were led by Freshmen, Lexi Raterink, shooting a 54, Mia Kits with a 55, and Jane Snyder coming in at 57. We will be back at it on Monday at The Mines Golf Course against Forest Hills Central. Go Eagles!
