Eagles Lose: 0 - 3
The Eagles traveled to Forest Hills Central to face them for the second time this season. With a tough prior result against the Rangers, the Eagles came focused and ready for a rematch. From the beginning of the game, the Eagles had high energy and there was a lot of back and forth action. Junior, Lucia Torcal Valdivia, played a key role in connecting our backline to our offense. This allowed for many offensive attacks which allowed the Eagles to get in behind their defense often. The score was 0-1 at halftime. With continuous back and forth action occurring, eventually the Rangers scored two great goals in the last ten minutes of the game. Final score 0-3. Forest Hills Central with the win. The Eagles are excited for their next home game against Northview on Wednesday at 7:45pm.

The Eagles traveled to Forest Hills Central for their 5pm kickoff time. With a lot of back and forth action at the beginning, the Eagles were excited to start off strong. A center midfielder for FHC had pace up top and a strong shot that caught our defense off guard. Even with amazing saves by Annelise Kuiper in the first half, we ended the half 0-3. Grand Rapids Christian made adjustments and switched their formation at halftime to play more defensive minded. However with wind and rain against us, Forest Hills Central’s fast offense wore us down and we conceded 5 more goals. The game ended early with a 0-8 final score.
