#3 Crue Lindgren - WR / DB
Parents: Matt and Amy Lindgren
Crue loves the friendships he has made through football and would like to encourage the younger players to “Love every second of high school football to the fullest, and never take a moment for granted.” Crue thanks his parents for supporting him from day one and always encouraging him to play the sport he loves.
#4 Nick VanHeulen - WR / DB
Parents: Matt and Nina VanHeulen
Nick’s favorite teacher at GR Christian is Mrs. Bokach. Nick’s favorite memory of Eagle football is Dawn Patrol and he loves the brotherhood of the program. Nick is planning to attend community college for two years and then study microbiology at Michigan State.
#10 Joe DeVries - WR / DB
Parents: Guy and Ann DeVries
Joe’s favorite teacher is Mr. Zietse. Joe’s is enthusiastic about joining the football program as a senior and enjoys the brotherhood of the team. His advice to younger players is to have fun and start playing earlier in high school. Joe plans to attend Pepperdine University and study business.

Andre and Theresa Irving
Andre’s favorite part about Eagle football is having the opportunity grow in determination and hard work through adversity. Andre would like to thank his parents for pushing and encouraging him, and supporting him through the process. Andre is undecided for college and plans to major in mechanical engineering.
#12 Derrek Dykema - QB
Parents: Greg and Rachel Dykema
Derrek’s favorite teacher at GR Christian is Mrs. Klaver and his favorite memory of Eagle football is the senior retreat from this last summer. Derrek’s advice to younger players is to “give it your all when nobody’s around, because that is how you get better than your competition.” Derrek would like to thank his parents for pushing him to be his best.

Jeff and Jasmine Wilson
Brian is joined by Jeff and Jasmine Wilson. Brian’s favorite teachers are Mr. Warners and Mr. VanDyke. Brian loves being able to come together with his teammates, take the field, and play in front of our community. Brian would like to thank his parents for their support and effort in making him the best person he can be. Next year, Brian plans to play college football and major in business.
#16 Noah Christenson - WR / DB
Parents: Wayne and Jamie Christenson
Noah’s favorite memories of high school football are the locker room after a win and the team dinners. Noah loves the friendships he has made and the leadership skills he has gained from football. Noah would like to thank his parents for putting him in football at a young age and being there for every game.
#21 Jack Coyle - RB / LB
Parents: John and Anne Coyle
Jack’s favorite football memory is the senior retreat this past summer. Jack most loves how supportive and encouraging the culture of Eagle football is; his advice to younger players is to “view the daily grind as a privilege rather than a chore.” Jack plans to play lacrosse in college and study as a pre-med student.

Mike and Missi Heemstra
Will’s favorite teacher at GR Christian is Mr. DeKoeokeok and his favorite football memory is scoring a two-point conversion his junior year against Thornapple Kellogg. Will would like to thank his parents for always taking him to practice and helping with team dinners. Will plans to work in HVAC after graduating.
#24 Brandon Konynenbelt - Punter
John and Cathy Konynenbelt
Brandon’s favorite memory is winning conference last year and he loves the guys on the team. Brandon would like to thank his parents for all the support they have given throughout his football experience. Brandon plans to major in business next year.
#25 Aidan Bremer - LB / TE
Trent and Paula Bremer
Aidan’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Gunnink and Mr. VanDyke and his favorite part about Eagle football is playing on Friday nights. Aidan’s advice to younger players is to “stick with it, it’s worth it.” Aidan would like to thank his parents for always driving him to practice and for watching every game.

Cooper’s favorite memory of Eagle football is when his team won the “Operation Eagle” challenge at the team retreat this summer and he loves being part of the brotherhood of the program. Cooper’s advice to younger players is to “Make your next rep better than the one before.”
#60 Ross Robinson - OL / DL
Scott and Laura Robinson
Ross’s favorite teacher at Grand Rapids Christian is Mrs. Apol. Ross’s favorite part about Eagle football is experiencing a team of brothers coming together. Ross would like to thank his parents for supporting his decisions; Ross plans to study fisheries and wildlife management next year in college.

Kyle’s favorite teacher is Mrs. DeVries and his favorite football memory is winning the regular season game against South Christian last year. Kyle’s advice to young players is to “Push yourself all four years in the classroom, on the field, in the weight room, and in life.” Kyle would like to thank his mom for giving him the opportunity to go to this school and be on a team like this.

Austin’s favorite football memory is the team retreat over the summer and he loves how the brotherhood and friendships made during football will last a lifetime. Austin encourages younger players to “Cherish these moments, you will be in this exact spot sooner than you think.” Austin plans to play baseball in college and major in sports management.

Connor’s favorite teacher at GR Christian is Mrs. Klaver and he loves being part of a team with really good teammates. Connor would like to thank his parents for supporting him and for coming to all the games. Connor plans to attend college locally.

Adam’s favorite teacher is Mrs. VanderVeen and his favorite football memory is taking ice baths. Adam loves the brotherhood and unity of the team and encourages the younger players to “always give it your all for your team, yourself, and the coaches.” Adam plans to play football in college and is still undecided.

Parents: Dan and Cindy VanderKodde
Marcellus’s favorite teacher is Ms. Roskamp and his favorite football memory is running the play “90 Weeber” in practice so lineman Cole Weeber could score! Marcellus loves the Eagle coaching staff and fans; he would like to thank his parents for letting him go to a Christian school and play sports.
