Naomi’s favorite teacher is Mr. Padilla. Her favorite memory of cheer is watching the student section trying to master “Eagle Beat” and seeing the excitement when they do. Naomi loves the bonding time that comes through painting the run-through signs together. Naomi’s advice for younger teammates is to stick with the team. Cheer is so much more fun when you can go beyond learning chants and stunting, and instead focus on perfecting and teaching. To her parents, Naomi says: “I would love to thank my parents for coming to each game since my freshman year and cheering with and for the team.” Next year Naomi plans to attend college in a midwestern city and study finance.

Annamarie’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Boven. Her favorite memory of sideline cheer is hanging out with her teammates before the games and loves seeing her friends in the student section and seeing her friends cheer with her. Annamarie wants to encourage younger cheerleaders to always be confident and don’t worry about what others have accomplished. Just continue to work hard and try your best. Annamarie wants to thank her mom for putting up with her being hangry in the car rides home from practice and always having dinner ready when she got home so Mom wouldn’t have to listen to her complain anymore.
