The Eagles traveled to East Grand Rapids to battle it out for the district final. The first half saw the two teams battle it out all over the field. The best opportunity of the half came from a run down the line by Emma Van Goor who slotted the ball across to Freshman Julia Timmer but the Pioneers' defense was able to close down the opportunity just in time. The teams went into the half tied 0-0. 

The second half started with a struggle for either team to control the ball. Eventually the Pioneers were able to break through with a player sneaking in on the back post for a tap in. The Eagles were not able to break out of the pressure and saw the hosts get a second goal very similar to the first. The game ended 3-0 seeing the hosts lift the trophy.
