FOREST HILLS NORTHERN HIGH: 28
The Eagles were home facing the Huskies of Forest Hills Northern. The Eagles got off to a slow start ending the 1st quarter down 11-9. The Eagles played great defense in the 2nd quarter scoring 9 points and holding the Huskies to 3 points. It was a low scoring affair in the 1st half with the Eagles taking a 18-14 point lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Eagles came out with great energy in the 3rd quarter. The Eagles would make some adjustments against the zone in the 3rd quarter which allowed them to take a 32-21 point lead. The Eagles would go on to win with a final score of 40-28.
Senior Dono Thames lead the way with 10 points. Junior Nate Johnson chipped in with 8 points. The Eagles will back on the floor Friday at EGR. The Eagles move to 11-4 on the season.
