The Eagles were seeking revenge against the East Grand Rapids Pioneers. The Eagles got off to a fast start setting the tone early. In the 1st quarter, the Eagles jumped out to a 11-0 run. The quarter would end 17-9.  The Eagles kept the pressure on in the 2nd quarter taking a 30-18 lead into halftime.  This game the Eagles would control the tempo.  In the last meeting, the Pioneers controlled the tempo.   

In the second half, the Pioneers were able to make a push by hitting a few three point shots.  However, the Eagles were able to keep their composure and closed out the 3rd quarter 40-30. The Eagles would refocus in the 4th quarter on defense.  The Eagles would hold the Pioneers to 10 points in the 4th quarter.  The Eagles continued to execute on offense and play hard defensively to get the win 56-40. The Eagles had some good chemistry on the  court tonight which led to a great team win.

Dono Thames lead the way with 19 points.  Juniors Jaylan Ouwinga added 15 points. Nate Johnson chipped in with 11 points. The Eagles will be on the road Tuesday at Forest Hills Central.  The Eagles move to 12-4 on the season.
