Boys Varsity Golf Wins Forest Hills Invitational

The first tournament of the season was a great test at Egypt Valley Country Club. The Eagles won the tournament placing first out of 23 teams with a score of 298. Second place was Catholic Central (316) with third place going to Grand Ledge (320). Of interest is the strength of the OK White schedule again this year with 5 OK White teams placing in the top 10 of this event.
For the Eagles, Junior Dylan Clark was the tournament's medalist (lowest score) shooting 72. Also scoring for the Eagles was junior Max O'Grady (73 - 2nd place), freshman Cooper Reitsma (74 - 4th place), sophomore John Cassiday (79 -13th place) and senior Alex VandenBerge with an 84.
Congratulations to the Eagles who represented their school and their entire 11 person team very well at this event with great attitudes, positive thinking, and mental toughness. The Eagles begin the OK white season on 4/12 at Brookside Golf Course.
