On a beautiful day of golf at Thornapple Pointe Golf Course, the Eagles entered two varsity teams into the event. The players chose the two teams themselves and tried to split the teams equally in a friendly competition against the field. The two teams both shot an incredible scores of 308 to share the Championship at the Kent County Invitational, 16 shots ahead of the 3rd place team. Placing third was OK White competitor Lowell HS with a 324 and fourth was another OK White competitor in Forest Hills Central (330). Again 5 OK White teams placed in the top 10 of this event. 

For the Eagle "Black shorts" team, Max O'Grady shot 75 (T-1st overall), followed by John Cassiday's 77 (T-9th overall), Dylan Clark's 78 (T-11th overall), Sawyer O'Grady's 78 (T-11th overall) and Ford Erickson's 82. 

For the Eagle "Khaki shorts" team, Cooper Reitsma shot 75 (T-1st overall), followed by Adam Workman's 76 (T-6th overall), Nate VanOtteren's 77 (T-9th overall), Nicholas Sherman's 80, and Alex VandeBerge's 81. 

Some incredible play from 6900 yards of golf course on a windy hot day. The entire team celebrated a victory and should be proud of what they accomplished. They will continue to work and improve. Next week everyone is back in action together on Saturday 4/22 at the Hamilton Invitational.
