Varsity Golf Wins OK White Jamboree @ Kent Country Club

The Eagles were highly motivated by seeing sunlight today during a golf match for the first time in more than a week! They played smart, solid, determined golf at a very demanding golf course and won the event shooting a 2 over par 146 as a team. Taking second place in the jamboree was the Lowell Red Arrows with a 170, and East Grand Rapids with a 176.
Scoring for the Eagles was junior Max O'Grady who shot a fantastic 2 under par 34 (1st overall) and senior Alex VandenBerge who shot a 1 under par 35 (2nd overall). Also scoring for the Eagles was freshman Cooper Reitsma (37 - 3rd overall), sophomore John Cassiday (40 - T6th overall), freshman Sawyer O'Grady (40 - T6th overall), and junior Dylan Clark (40 - 6th overall).
The Eagles travel to Roscommon, MI this weekend to play in "The Loop Classic" at Forest Dunes.
