GREENVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Eagles hosted Greenville Wednesday night at a wet and muddy Gainey Athletic Complex. Freshman Ava Barton opened her scoring account with a nice finish after a cross from Sophomore Mae Henderson. The Eagles extended their lead as Senior Kailynn Grieve fought through traffic inside the 18 yard box to slot one home. After multiple corners the home team finally saw another breakthrough as a loose ball rolling away from goal was tucked away by Freshman Ava Barton for her second on the day. The evening was capped off by two goals from Senior Jessica Larsen after she first drove through the middle of the field and found the side netting, followed by a shot from deep finding the top corner.
The Eagles have a busy week starting with a trip to Unity Christian on Monday May 9th. For a reminder, Senior night will be hosted at Eagles Stadium May 11th at 7:30PM as the Eagles host Holland Christian. Come out and support your Seniors for their last home game!
