As temperatures soared, the Chelsea Bulldogs came to town and defeated the Eagles at home. The overall score of the match, 6-2 for Chelsea, was misleading, as the Eagles fought through some new pairings and extremely close matches decided by tiebreaks.
Senior Simon Volkema kept his momentum going at #1 Singles, and #3 Doubles Sam Van Schepen/Ethan DeBlecourt won in straight sets. Senior Alex Cook lost a very close match at #2 Singles, 11-9 in the third set Super Tiebreak.
Against Eastern, the Eagles got out to quick leads at #1 Doubles (Tanner Warners/Aaron Dorner), and #2 Doubles (Cade Boender/Charlie Walters), and Sam VanSchepen was dominating at #4 singles with a huge coin toss victory before the match was called.
The Eagles host the Red Arrows at 4PM on Wednesday.
