Team Overview

The Eagles competed at Northview HS and played very consistent and competitive tennis against the Wildcats. The Eagles pushed through the heat of the day and kept finding solutions to compete wholeheartedly. As a team, the boys worked on playing more strategic tennis. Where strategy and consistency meet, ability and potential grow. The Eagles, as a team, played to the best of their ability and potential against the Wildcats. Great work, boys.   

Highlights 

Callum Campbell, Adam Workman, and Spencer Slagboom / Taeheon (George) Kwon played very long matches, keeping their opponents on the court while staying mentally strong and keeping the ball in play. 

Nate Scheffler / Nathanial Zwart played very competitively, as there were even points where Nate dived for balls. Caleb Nykamp / Josh VanSchepen worked their way back after losing a couple of games. They had the willpower to stay mentally strong and, by doing so, made a comeback for the win. 

Richard VerHoef, Julian Seger / Alejandro ( Alex) Monto Sobrino, and Andrew Leonard/ BJ Apol played very well and kept the momentum on their side as they played consistently. Great work, Eagles.
