During pool play, the Eagles put up an impressive 2-1 record, displaying their tenacity and determination led by Senior, Rachel Larsen, who demonstrated an attitude that continuously brought the Eagles to victory in tough matches. This performance was enough to propel the team into the gold bracket, where they faced off against Dakota High School. With their grit tested, the Grand Rapids Christian Eagles put on a remarkable display and emerged victorious against their opponents.

the Eagles' remarkable journey in the tournament faced a setback in the quarterfinals when they squared off against a formidable opponent, Jenison High School. The match was fiercely contested, with both teams giving it their all. In a thrilling encounter that went into overtime during the third set, the Eagles were bested by Jenison High School with a final score of 1-2.

Despite the quarterfinal loss, the Grand Rapids Christian Eagles can hold their heads high. They finished the tournament in the top 8 out of 32 teams, an achievement that speaks volumes about their skill and determination.
