The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles arrived at the East vs West volleyball tournament in Lowell this Saturday and achieved an impressive 3rd place finish. The Eagles demonstrated exceptional teamwork and skill throughout a very competitive day.

The tournament kicked off with intense matches against Marian, Cadillac and Portage Northern High School. The Eagles faced formidable opponents but displayed their resilience and emerged in the top two advancing to the gold bracket.

Building on their early success, the Eagles faced rivals, Lowell High School, in a exciting encounter. The Eagles dominated on first contacts and triumphed over the Red Arrows with a 2-0 victory, showcasing their ability to perform under pressure. This win propelled them into the semifinals, further fueling their ambition.

In a hard-fought battle, the Eagles fought against Clarkson High School. Clarkson managed to take home the win and advanced to the finals against Marian High School.

As the team reflects on their successes and prepare for future challenges, the Eagles can take pride in their exceptional performance. Their journey in the tournament showcased their readiness as they head into post season.

The Eagles play their next match at Byron Center High School against Byron Center at 6:00pm in the second round of the conference tournament.
