Boys Varsity Lacrosse drowned by Spring Lake 6-15

SPRING LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The Boys Varsity Lacrosse team hosted the Lakers of Spring Lake in another Tier 2 tilt last night and fell 15 to 6. While the score appears very lopsided, the effort and the improvement were marked against a solid team. The defense had its lapses but excellent performances were turned in by Senior Defensive Midfielder, Anthony Betten and Freshmen, Carson Stransky and Logan Eaton shutting down their 2 main shooters. Senior Goalie, Logan Sutfliff faced an incredible (48) shots, and while they still scored 15, turned in an almost 70% save percentage which is awesome in lacrosse.
It was good to have Junior Jake Eaton back on the field after too long being off for injury. He made up for the lost time by scoring (4) of the (6) Eagle Goals. Other goals were scored by Luke Afman and Brock Grieve. Assists went to Luke Afman, Blake Grieve, and Erik Mileski with (1) each, and Colin Wildman was a feeding wild man finding Jake Eaton (3) times with an apple.
