Varsity Boys Lacrosse

On a beautiful sunny and warm evening at Eagle Stadium, the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team did not have a sunny and warm outing versus the Panthers of West Ottawa. The Eagles got behind early and never could fly out of the hole they let themselves get in. The Panthers played hot on the offenses' hands, and the Eagles struggled to gain and maintain possession all night.

Bright spots on the night were Junior Luke Selfe with (4) forced turnovers, (3) ground galls, and yeoman's work locking off WO's stud attackman. Also, Freshman Ben Toly who had never played lacrosse before this season, let alone taken a face-off is really coming on at the face-off X. He won (12) of the (22) faceoffs he took, unfortunately, he did not get the support needed from his wings for the Eagles to gain the possession. Junior West Catholic Middie Colin Wildman had (4) ground balls, and (2) assists, Sophomore Captain Brock Grieve had a hardworking goal, while his twin brother and fellow Captain Blake got an assist. Junior West Catholic Middie, Erik Mileski was the high scorer putting (2) eggs in the nest for the Eagles.
