Eagles Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse - Eagles Varsity laid down the law in their victory over Northview 18 -5. Goals were scored by Niya Couch (7), Lili Bouwma (4), Elizabeth Mehney (2), Maddie Christians, Halle Couch, Sophie Israels, Adia Sikkema, and Kiera Zylstra. Midfielder Halle Couch was credited with winning 17 draws and controlling 10. Attack player Niya Couch was credited with winning 2 draws and controlling 1. Defensive player of the game was awarded to Adia for her work on ride, 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers. The team’s Ground Hog Award went to both Halle Couch and Katie Winkle, with 6 ground balls each. With 4 assists, Lili Bouwma was awarded the Laxister of the game. Way to go Eagles!!
