Eagles Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse - Eagles Varsity defeated West Ottawa 18 -1. Goals were scored by Lili Bouwma (6), Halle Couch (4), Niya Couch (2), Sophie Israels (2), Adia Sikkema, Leah Stransky, and Katie Winkle. Midfielder Halle Couch was credited with winning 17 draws and controlling 5. Defensive player of the game was awarded to Elizabeth Mehney for her work on the ride, 1 ground ball, and 5 caused turnovers. The team’s Ground Hog Award was shared between Adia Sikkema, Kiera Zylstra, Leah Stransky, and Niya Couch. With 6 assists, Lili Bouwma was awarded the Laxister of the game. Way to go Eagles!!
